Jonathan Ko is an intellectual property attorney, engineer, and entrepreneur interested in helping those who are ready to build their dreams and protect them. He is licensed to practice in California, Illinois, and Washington and is licensed to practice with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He has worked in three academic laboratories (neuroscience, crystallography, and synthetic biology) and has a Master’s degree in biotechnology. He is also working toward an electrical engineering degree online.
Mostly, he never wants to stop learning and helping people reach their goals. He has served on the board of several nonprofits and assisted with formation of nonprofits, LLCs, and corporations. Currently, he serves on the board of Washington Attorneys with Disabilities Association.
Previously, Jonathan clerked for judges at the 18th Circuit Court in Illinois. He has acted as outside counsel for 3eLove, HCP Packaging USA, Inc., Apex Products, and Lin Pictures, Inc. Most recently, Jonathan worked at Washington Civil and Disability Advocate helping with litigation, human resources, and online presence.
